I'm a Certified Nurse Midwife who received training via the University of California, San Francisco’s midwifery graduate program. As a nurse midwife, my initial training was focused in the hospital, however, over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of working with families in both the hospital and a free-standing birth center. The Legacy Experience
Preventive Care
Access to prenatal screening, genetic testing, ultrasounds, and routine pregnancy lab tests.
Individualized Care Planning
There will be specific visits in each trimester that focus on nutrition, birth plans, preparation for baby, etc. The process of assessment, review of current recommendations, and goal setting will help us develop a customized plan for you.
On-call Midwife
Your midwife will be on call 24/7 for the birth in the last few weeks of your pregnancy.
Longer Visits
Prenatal visits are held in a cozy office space conveniently located next to Alta Bates Hospital, where the deliveries take place. Prenatal visits are 2x's longer than standard visits to allow for more prenatal education, questions, understanding your needs, and planning.
Private Birth Room
Enjoy a private room with a laboring tub. One-on-one labor support with the midwife, and a team of professionals who support the intention of creating a serene, autonomous environment in the hospital.
Postpartum Support
Transitioning after the birth is just as important as everything before it. The midwife will provide multiple check ups at specific points until you reach the 6 week mark.
